Under 16’s – 2016/17 SCJCA Premiers!
Under 16’s 2016/17 Premiers
The Under 16’s side recently took out their third Premiership win in a row with a thrilling match vs the Coromandel Ramblers. The Ramblers were bowled out needing only 3 runs to reach the Sharks score.
Congratulations to the Under 16’s on winning another flag!
Thank You!
The ICC Sharks would like to extend their thanks out to players, captains, coaches, committee members, affiliates, sponsors, parents and friends. For their help over the past season in any shape or form, the club would cease to exist without the hard work and time by our volunteers.
We think we’ve had an exceptional season, both on and off the field. We’ve seen Rick Foster get the experience of a life time, bowling to the Australian Cricket Team players in their training session, we’ve seen three senior sides in the grand finals, winning two of them. We’ve seen the Under 16’s side take out a premiership also.
An influx of sponsors to reward our players for their efforts, which has been fantastic for the club.
The ICC Sharks would also like to thank club Veteran Daniel Lowe, who has assisted us in securing On The Run to provide us with Man of the Match awards in the form of Happy Wash Valet Car Wash Vouchers. We would also like to thank Daniel for his efforts at the Club Presentation night as MC, the night was thoroughly enjoyable and good to see many faces at the event. Daniel also assisted in a supply of bread at no cost to the club from Brumby’s Bakery, for our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraisers.
We would also like to thank Bill Burnett, Stewart Smith, Oliver Graham and Andrew Caldwell from SACA for their involvement with Rick Foster’s time with the Aussie team. Ashley Bryant from SACA for his support with use of the MyCricket administration system to allow us to use it better within the club. We would also like to thank Liam Coventry-Poole from the Australian Cricketers Association for his involvement with Rick, as well as the Channel 7 News Adelaide.
We would also like to pass out thanks to Wallis Cinemas – Noarlunga who also supplied Man of the Match Awards in the form of a double movie pass.
We would also like to thank Hackham Football and Social Club for hosting the club this year, Morphett Vale Butchers, ICA Cricket Shop, Action Sports Morphett Vale, Specialty Foods, Ace Tree and Stump Removal, as well as KFC Reynella and Inflatable World for suppling player of the match awards for the junior players.
And last but not least, we’d like to thank the volunteers who slaved away on the hot plates at the Bunnings BBQ’s this year, Matthew Verrall for his assistance in the transition of some committee members, and also Geoff at Brighton Trophy Center for looking after us this year!
See you all next season!
